Dry Needling is a treatment technique involving thin needles to penetrate the skin and stimulate the underlying corrective tissues for the management of pain and movement impairments. ​Dr. St.Germain is trained through Integrative Dry Needling (IDN) in this specialty. We utilize this on a case by case basis with patients interested in this modality. Dry Needling is NOT generally covered by insurance. This treatment can be used as a stand alone treatment, or it can be paid for as an add on to other treatment being administered through insurance. We have found dry needling to be quite effective in the treatment of the following diagnoses, but it can be used for most any pain problem...
